This week I am currently working on the motor control boards and the controller code with Solomon, unfortunately scheduling problems have delayed us somewhat.

 

Hopefully Darnel will have completed the graphical representation of the transmission and we can start putting great visuals on the web this weel.

 

 

September 29, 1997

 

Based on our meeting at 9 am Monday morning in the GM lab the following tasks should be completed by the next meeting Friday Oct. 3 in the GM lab at 4pm.

 

Solomon - Determine Machining Issues

1.Using the CNC machine

2. Generating G code from part drawings

 

Peter - Design Issues

1.Check over Darnel's drawings

2.Explore gripper and differential problems

 

Darnel - Design Issues

1.Finalize Pro-E drawings

2.Part drawings for the links that need to be machined

3.Explore the issues with the base gear

 

Alex - Kinematics

1.Determine theta's for each motor from end-effectors coordinates

2.Part drawings for the links that need to be machined

 

Alex - Kinematics

1.Finish 3-D kinematics

2.Look at kinematics aspect of velocity code
